In fact, the Russians and Ukrainians continue to build LTM lenses to this day, interesting clones of the Prewar Zeiss Contax lens line together with a few great additions, the 6/28 Orion and the 5.6/20 Russar. The British, French, Germans, Japanese, Dutch, and Italians have also all manufactured LTM lenses. The saga is a rich one, the lenses are, for the most part, rather inexpensive, and the optical performance of some of these is quite interesting.
