     Your M4-P is made in 1980/81 and the Summicron is well after 1988.(too 
     new, I haven't got the list yet)

Hugh, I used to own no. 1544270, I'm sure they bumped into one another on 
the assembly line. Your camera was produces in 1980/81, your lens was made 
after 1988. My tables don't go on after that year.
