OTOH, Canon's Lens Mount Converter B adapts Canon FL/FD mount lenses (breech or bayonet) to Leica/ Canon SM. The thickness of this converter is such that infinity focus is preserved (and manual focusing is necessary, of course). BTW, I am trying to get back into Leica M again after a 15 year absense (too long I know!). I used this converter (B) to adapt Canon lenses to my Leicas, but I don't remember what I tried and how it worked. I also remember making pinhole lenses with a SM->M adapter and Al foil. Fun Stuff!
