Hello,
I have two (2) 45-90 3-cam, Angeniux lenses (neither are for
sale). I can't compare them to a 90 Summicron, as I use a
70-180 APO for that focal length range, but I will say that they are
beautiful lenses. They are slightly warmer than typical Leica, and
very sharp. They are also quite heavy and bulky. For whatever it's
worth, I believe that David Douglas wrote a book illustrating all of
Picasso's work. The lens of choice was the 45-90 Angeniux.
By the way, these lenses are hard to find, especially 3 cam
versions. I might know were there is one, I would have to check
to be sure.

Subject: Info regarding Angeniux F2.8 45-90mm lens
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain
Content-Disposition: inline
Hi everyone,
Does any one know or use an Angeniux F2.8 45-90mm lens for Leica R?
How does it perform comparing with the 90mm summicron?
I could not find any lense test for it. The zoom range is perfect
for portrait.
On a different topic, would any one like to trade the following items
90R summicron,
100R APO macro,
35M ASPH summilux
for a mint R7, in box; and a 35mm R lens.
Please send private reply to
etmthnu@etm.ericsson.se
Thanks,
Tuong
