   "Commissioned" is a bit misleading since Leica still tried to hawk
these treasured masterpieces at ridiculously inflated prices through
their dealers.   I wonder how many of them really went to the Royal
Danish family and how many went to the no-so-royal Gullible family.

My point is that present Leica management really doesn't understand the
esteem and reverence their product is held in.  IF they did, they would
not be prostituting the Leica name with phony instant collectibles for
the sake of a few extra bucks.   Too bad present Leica Management
doesn't have a higher regard for their company, their products, and more
importantly, their customers.
