John,

Leica has not been using "L" wax seal for some time. Latest models of M6 have
flashing LEDs for underexposure. I believe black screws at the twelve o'clock
position is the standard. On my M6 Titanium all the lens mount screws are
black. I haven't seen the wax seal for some years.
