I would check Rangefinders at a photo show by comparing distances
(infinity and below 1 m) indexed by lens engravings by a wideangle lens
on the RF camera and by an SLR with a tele lens (RF and SLR should both
use original prime lenses, and should be the same brand).
This is of cause a rought check.
