The same malady afflicted a second hand 35 mm Summicron that came my 
way. Given the focal length, I don't think I would have experienced 
any image quality problems after hand tightening.  But for my own 
piece of mind, the lens went off to Sherry Krauter. It's been a champ 
ever since its return.
