Otherwise you can connect the Metz direct via the flash shoe to the M, but all the Metz 40 MZxx are a bit to heavy for M cameras. For the first solution you can use the Metz SCA adapter for your desired SLR system in combination with the cable SCA 3007A (SCA-3000 system) or SCA 307A (SCA-300 system). Or a standard cable (I donīt know the exact name) to connect the Metz with the M synchro socket. But have a look to the new small sized Metz 34A. It was presented at the photokina in cologne and itīs a dedicated system flash for Nikon, Canon or Minolta. If there is a computerflash-function and a manually function with different apertures on this gear, it will be a good alternative to the big ones.
