Leica replaced (not repaired) it five times over two years for autofocus problems before I finally demanded and eventually received a refund. It had a 40mm lens which could be extended to 80mm by a built in 2x converter via a switch. I found optical quality good at the 40mm setting and poor at 80mm, reasonably sharp but low contrast. I think they are rare now because they've all died !
