There was no intent on my part to impart any negative
connotation by the phrase "Nikkor type"; quite to the
contrary, it was only an attempt to be succinct.

Notwithstanding, the value of what 95% of any group might
hold to be true; my goal is to compare Nikkor & Leica optics
&..........see for myself!

Given the *existence* of great Nikkor optics, it should be
an interesting experiment; i.e., working with the new Nikon
F100.......whose specs/ergonomics intrigue me. 

Who knows, I might become the "Nikkor type" (&>)!
