Ummmmm, at the risk of incurring the wrath of the LUG, I think I'd agree with that. David Morton ++++++++++++++ David and Lucien, How do you define "important" in this context? I would certainly agree that the SLR was an important development, but Leica photographers had demonstrated the value and importance of 35mm cameras long before Nikon came on the scene.
