How many actually started?" I did. On New Years Eve I took photos of a friend's six year old daughter playing with the box her new desk had come in (they DO seem to prefer the wrapping to the present...), and photos of revelers Downtown... this extended into the first hour of Jan 1. Yesterday (2 Jan) I made photographs on Hawthorne Street in Portland, of various subjects. I cannot say that I was especially focused, but later in the day the light was *electric*, and I took some cityscapes downtown that might have been better. The tools: Ricoh GR-1 with 28/2.8 (fits in shirtpocket, therefore will always be with me); Leica M6 with 50 Summicron and/or 35 Summilux ASPH. With me almost always. My goal is to end up with at least 52 real keepers, at least one a week. Who knows what today will bring? ..........................................................................
