Just to throw something in there:
Family Story:
My Grandfather was an eminent Nueraogist in New Youk in the 20's -70's,
Dr Abraham M. Rabiner  that he was to first person to photograph spastic
children with his new fangled 16 motion picture camera new on the market
with the idea of slowing down the film and figuring out what was going on.
This doesn't take away from your story which made my point better than
mine: it just reminded me of this one.
