Ouch! Where is the bargain here?  The seller has an unknown reserve set.
This camera/motor has been posted numerous times on EBAY, and he never gets
a bid to equal what he wants.  We can only guess. He seems to have a higher
opinion of the piece then everyone else. The last time he listed the
camera, the high bid was $3835.00, and it still wasn't enough to buy it!! 

But let's look at this from a collector's point of view. First, the camera
is a black M2 -- that's good. Place a value on it
of say $1800 - $2500 (Christie's figures -- not mine). And it's got a
motor. BUT -- that particular M2 was modified later on in life to take the
motor. So, it's not *really* an M2-M. So, what's a motor worth? Maybe about
the same as the body? So a market price for that setup might be $3600 -
$5000, depending on condition. It looks pretty rough, so I'd say the high
bid he received is just about what it's worth. Not a bargain.... but maybe
a fair price for what it is.
