Be glad it was not Nikon. For my EOS1n I got some kind of thing that screws into the remote plug ($14.00 about 5 years ago) that allows me to use any kind of remote cable that has a 1/8 stereo plug on it. I have used foot switches, homemade cables and all sorts of things, also great for a radio slave as all I need is a straiget 1/8 male to 1/8 male cable. For Nikon the same type of jack cost well over $50.00...... By the way I have never used MLU on on my EOS 1n, on my old Nikon F 4,3,2, FM2, 8008, or on my really old Canon F1n. I guess this mean I am not a real professional photographer. Harrison McClary email: harrison@mcclary.net http://www.mcclary.net preview my book: http://www.volmania.com
