Subject: [Leica] 28mm focus ring ?

dear LUG, 

for the second time now, I've used my 28mm elmarit m too many times. The
focusing knob has fallen off again. Always in my hand thankfully. I shudder
to think what one of these little plastic things cost.

Anyway, has thing happened to anyone else? If so, any thoughts on a
permanent repair?
