I have a rough Summilux which leaves the other lenses at home but I have a 35/3.5 M for sale. It produces good pix, I wouldn't say they were disappointing in any way. No eyes but this was made for the M3 before they thought of eyes, so to work on an M2,4,5,6 and trip the right frame it will require just a small amount of filing off the appropriate cam. (Loads of people have done this in the past with similar lenses). I used to have a screw 35/2.8, it was a fine lens but I didn't know it was rare until after I'd sold it. Except at full aperture I don't think you'd notice the difference. Lens hoods aren't too hard to find, they're shared with the 50/2 aren't they? Though Fieldgrass and Gale (a Leica specialist here in London) will sell you a Japanese copy for a mere £20 or so. The lens is yours for 200 GBP if you're interested. best regards, Jem > -----Original Message----- > From: Mark Newport [SMTP:newport_m@utpb.edu] > > I am thinking, maybe about buying a second 35mm "knockabout" lens.
