When I was shopping for a replacement for my Kodak Retina IIIC a couple years ago you Lugers told me that compromises have to be made when designing SLR lens vs Rangefinder lens so I went with the M for this and other reasons. Actually, now that I think about it, I guess this lens was designed to be used as a SLR lens so I guess they would not be any different. Answered my own question.
