Well, the defense of parody is that no one will be fooled into believing the satirical image to be the REAL thing. Take a picture of the Mona Lisa and insert, say, Jim Brick's face in place of the lady's phizz. No one, but no one, will pay money for this "artwork" believing it to be the divine original.
