Would you rather be photographed in a suit sitting next to your lawyer being represented in a court of law, proclaiming your innocence, or would you rather be seen in an orange jump suit in chains being lead to court from jail? I didn't say that, a judge did to an attorney in court who objected to my being there. He got the point. OJ Simpson is what's wrong with lawyers, who should be sanctioned by judges for posturing. It can be done rightly, or wrongly. Remember, we also show how the prisoner is being treated. Less chance of abuse if the public can see the accused. If they can hide them from us, what do you think might happen in some of the less-than-honorable jails? Some prisoners ARE innocent! Me? I prefer to not do it. But tell that to an editor! Guess I did. I'm unemployed! :-) Eric Welch St. Joseph, MO http://www.ponyexpress.net/~ewelch Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
