Chandos, about a half a year ago, I used, for the first time my Cannon f1.2 on
my M3.Even so, I had some complaints about the optical quality of this lens, I
was hooked on
being able to do late evening, handheld, shots. They have a totally different
atmosphere
to either normal daytime shots, or evening tripod shots. The same goes for the
rainy shots on a late winters or autumn day.
Since this time, I knew, that one day I have a Noctilux. The day came a couple
of weeks ago. I hardly used it since I bought it, but the time will come. I
don't envisage problems with the shallow depth of field at the large apertures,
because most of my shots are taken towards the infinity mark.
