That about hits the nail on the head, Horst. Here we are asking for a 
cheaper product to ensure some form of Leica business growth, and 
simultaneously we're kind-of rebuking them for making such excellent 
products, that frequently outlive us.

I think the question kinda leads us down to an either/or predicament. 
Yes, you can have that super-cheap consumable camera that is going to 
sacrifice 'Leica Quality,' and because of this the Leica brand name 
suffers. Or you can have an extension of what already exists with its 
current price and cache. I'm not sure anymore if there is an 
accomplishable middle-ground.

Hang on a minute...who'd be queing for a Leica 4x?
