Sadly, on the LUG, there are many people with nothing else to do and for some of them this group seems to be an important part of their life. Maybe they are retired or maybe just lonely or who knows maybe the LUG is even their moment of fame. But I do not think that I can justify much longer the time it takes to wade through up to 200 mostly useless posts every day. The WEB can be a great resource for information but unfortunately the LUG is not living up to its potential. I for one joined the LUG hoping to find information about using Leicas and instead I am finding that I am learning much more from old fashioned paper (books) and from going out and using my Leicas alot.
