What is the German for electronic shutter? Alistair, This theory does really only make sense for the M3. The M2 also has 3 frame lines, The M4P has 6 frame lines as has the M6. However, the M6J has only 4 frame lines and the M5 also. The M1 has 2 frame lines. The german for electronic shutter is: elektronisch gesteuerter Verschluss. For electronic focal plane shutter it is: elektronisch gesteuerter Schlitzverschluss. Regards, Horst Schmidt
