I will point you to http://www.photodo.com that always rate their results as a benchmark. But they only list current lenses. I have also had an idea for some time: As I have saved my old photo mags with different tests since some years now, I might put it all together -for what it is- and publish it on the web. "Modern Photography" for example, did great reviews of cameras and lenses during the 1970:s. I am not sure about the copyright though. If you wonder about some specific lenses, send me a mail privately, and I will check what info I have got in my old photo mags. Hans <Being a car guy I can understand a comparison test where for <example the benchmark for performance is usually 0-60 and there is a number <to relate to, (0-60 = 4.6 sec).
