Ted,

Reminds me of the F2... nice camera to use, my own SLR system is based on
it, but with the heavy, hard edged MD-1 and battery pack attached it
transforms the handling of the camera by several magnitudes. I've also used
the F2 High Speed in the past (including covering Bill Halley and the Comets
to give this an American flavor from across the pond <g>) and that combo was
in another league with it's grippability... and the extra weight simply
added to the steadiness (although the pellicle mirror helped too).

More weight I to our elbows I say... which is exactly where my M3 and D/R
Summ score.
