I finally figured out how to get a Stroboframe QR plate to go onto an M6, if
anyone else is interested.  The problem is that when using the mounting hole
on the far edge of the plate for the M6 tripod threads, as you tighten, the
other end lifts up, so the plate twists easily.  I found that if you take
off the cork, file down the screw a couple mm's, and put a drop or two of
lock-tite on the side of the plate towards the center of the camera, it will
mount flush and prevent twisting.

The plate is angled on the corners so that it does not ruing the feel of
those nice, rounded M sides.
