Is the difference visible with images scanned with a Nikon Coolscan 3 at the maximum resolution? I also use some Elitechrome and can see some character differences on a light table. When I scan them with my Coolscan 2, the differences are no more visible to my eyes on a monitor even when scanned at 2700 dpi.
