Which raises an interesting question...:-)....Given the heritage of said Leicas, given that they are photographic instruments, why haven't most if not all the "collectibles" been famous photographer autograph models...I know there was an HCB, but haven't all the rest of them been named for stock certificates and various royal figureheads?....Wouldn't it have made more sense to have a Capa, an Eisie (sp?), a Salgado, a Smith, a Buroughs (sp), hell, a Grant! After all, isn't photography - and aren't photographers - what it's all about? :-) B.
