The vertical RF alignment on an M6 is under the red dot, through a
triangular hole, and requires a very expensive special tool. It adjusts
only the vertical alignment.

Horizontal alignment is accomplished inside the lens mount on the cam
followers. The LUG archives details this adjustment.
