You'll also notice the regular traffic has slowed down, and the odd car
nosediving as the brakes are jammed on!  

I'm with Harrison on the benefits of an autofocus sensor free
viewfinder.  You get a better composed shot when the whole screen is a
focus sensor.  Since I've been using the F5, my soccer action shots are
often poorly composed, although generally well focussed.  The F5 is
supposed to hand autofocus tracking from the initial pickup sensor to
the others as the action moves across the screen.  Works about half the
time for me, so I tend to just stick to the middle sensor.

Also, having learned focus tracking with a Leica, turing the lens
clockwise to focus closer, I cannot make the mental adjustment to do it
the other way with a Nikon.  It's like it's imprinted.
