So...  the excessively obvious conclusion based on this broad hint is:

 - That 28/2.0 ASPH we've been hearing about

 - A lower-mag body

The latter is certainly an intriguing idea.  The former would be if I
found myself gravitating to the 28mm's field of view much, but I
don't.  But then... on a lower-mag body, the 28mm framelines wouldn't be
all the way out at the edges, so just as the 0.72 is an ideal body for
a 35mm lens, a body which managed to include (dare we hope?) 21mm
framelines would likely have 28mm  lines with a comfortable amount of
space around 'em.

Oops, I'm already preparing to be seduced.  

So it'll be a mached set, then.  Buy 'em all!

The question is: how would frameline selection be done for framelines
not yet part of the traditional set?  A switch on the body?

I for one would welcome this even for some of the existing lines --
I'd love to be able to choose, for example, 50mm-only or 75mm-only.
