My point is if you are buying used make sure you budget for a CLA just in case it is needed. If you are happy with the lens' performance why fix it? So far my 35/1.4asph (purchased used) is performing flawlessly and I do not intend to CLA it. I bought the Hektor used and cheap and figured it might need work so I was not surprised that much.
