Hi Mehrdad,

Yes, I use my Metz 50 MZ-5 with both R8 and M6 TTL with a 3501 adapter. 
No problemo.  Just a big flash to mount an M6 on, thats all.

You know the flash is big when the camera goes on it, rather than the
other way around.
