If the fog is on the 'front' end- that is the end that loads first, I would imagine that the lips of the casstte were not tight agains the T-Max film. I believe it has a thinner Estar base- that is a polyester base that is quite thin compared to, say, Tri-X, and that if you loaded or unwrapped the film in the tropical sun- even in the shade- there might have been enough light let in, or 'piped' in to fog the film. Also- winding the film all the way into the cassette might have left an opening sufficient for enough light to get in and fog the film- fogging is cumulative, and so it could have gotten more and more exposure everytime the film was brought into the light! I know it's foolish to tell a pro like you what to do, but when I unload the film, I stick it back into the can- the black ones!
