A bit of a bargain if you ask me, several dealers have s/h stock above that price! At about the time the new 35 Summicron ASPH came out, I called him up to buy one. He convinced me that I'd be better off with the pre-ASPH. I'm still not sure whether Jim was anxious to sell his stock of pre-ASPH lenses or if he really believed what he was telling me. I'm happy with the pre-ASPH and so I rationalize why it's a better lens than the ASPH (neutral color rendition, small size, better hood, lower price). Bud
