I look at them and learn about mistakes made in technique or composition. I have also discovered that after a decade or so, the old blurry, fuzzy, out of focus subjects start to look very artsy and chic! Since most of my slides are of family and friends, there is also some sentimental and historical value associated with slides of people who are no longer among the living. I also have plans (never realized!) of using parts of old slides in montages made in Adobe Photoshop for future generations. As a result, I now have 10,000+ slides sleeved and stored in archival slide album boxes. Muhammad Chishty
