If you are not happy with what is available to you locally, try one of the following retailers: http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/seconds.htm http://www.foto-hobby.de/ http://www.leicabeimeister.com/leica/ http://www.leicashop.at/ The first one is in the UK, the next two in Germany and the last one in Austria (I personally boycott this last one these days for political reasons, but it is a good shop, so if you do not share my reservations about Austria, you can get good deals here). I have done business with all four, both new and second-hand Leica items. Every time the merchandise has been as promised, in perfect working order, and in most cases with 6 or even 12 months warranty. For me these were also purchases abroad, as I was living in Belgium and now in Switzerland. The fact that Australia is further away is irrelevant.
