Subject: [Leica] A new web page, and how to pocket the Leica M.

Hi Luggers,

    1) I've developed a web site that might interest some of you. It's
dedicated to 35mm photography, and Leica Ms in particular:

          http://wizard.net/~tbryant/photo35.html

It's a compendium of my years of photography, and I've tried to include
tidbits on technique that you might have not seen before, like how to get a 2
second shutter speed out of an M3 or M4, how to shoot the moon, metering, film
storage, impromptu tripods, etc. Hope that you enjoy it.

    2) To add to the discussion on how to unobstrusively carry an M series
Leica around with you, here's how I do it:

The body, with its cap, goes in one pocket. The lens(es), film, and meter
are distibuted in other pockets. The body becomes very pocketable without the
lens. Try it. It's the lenses that are usually the pain. No way a Noctilux
is easily portable, and don't even try to pocket a 135mm Elmarit, while the
older 35mm lenses are easy to loose in a pocket.

Mind, with my N**** photo vest on, I can carry even the 135mm Elmarit
with (relative) ease. However, there's nothing unobstrusive about that vest.

    Cheers,

    Tom
