My apologies though, as I dropped a rather large bollock by forgetting to mention that I plan to use this lens on an M3 with infra-red film! Therefore, the lens will be stopped down and set to the hyperfocal distance to allow for the infra-red adjustment. So, I don't need to use the rangefinder for focussing.
