If you like 'character' in your lens, 'in spades' then pick up a 1.5, there's terrific chromatic distortion wide open with a noticeable amount of vignetting too. Like an early 35 Summilux only exaggerated 50x! Closed down it gets to be respectab;le but I wouldn't have thought the equal of the f2, it was an earlier lens, only faster not better.
