The original PX625 was 1.35v and had a stable output until exhauseted when it plummeted to zero. The Wein zinc air cell most closely mimics the original battery in its output and that is what is offered by Fargo Enterprises, Inc. at: http://www.micro-tools.com/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=Micro-Tool s&Product_Code=MRB625 The other fargo web site is devoted to a printer manufacturer. Jem - -----Original Message----- From: Hans Pahlen [SMTP:hans.pahlen@mark.komvux.se] I have bought a new type of legal PX-625 type of batteries from Fargo http://www.fargo.com that work as well as the old type. They are a bit expensive, but OTH they last more than 2 years. I am also using the CRIS adapter on 3 MR4 meters without any problems. As long as these products can be bought, I would never rebuild a M5 for lots of $$... Hans
