"On Photography" made an interesting companion to John Szarkowski's "Photography Until Now". Both seem to say that traditional attributes for judging photographs like composition and style were no longer valid. To succeed a photograph need only be interesting. They seem to invalidate any attempts to create Art with a camera. Mike D
