Marc writes remarkably little about the firm (on p.50) merely naming them and their 8 lenses which were produced in LTM. These were made in the 1950s, the high point of German optical outpourings in Leica fit. The Culminar has the honour(?) of most likely being the most highly produced of all the non Leitz LTM lenses made. 135mm was always a popular focal length in those days, probably as most optical firms already had 135mm lens designs in their 'arsenal' from large format ranges. Therefore the price/worth is never likely to be great but I think they frequently have more interest than their price anyway, ebay often sells them for less than $40 but probably not mint. Performance will be less than startling. So you finally decided to get a non Leitz/Leica lens then?! Any reason why? Can anyone tell me anything about this lens? Its worth, if it has a worth. Many thanks, Jim
