It is made of the same ballistic nylon stuff as the other J-series bags, and is much improved over the F-803. 1) The ballistic nylon material is much better in wet conditions. Can't tell you how many times I had to hang up my F-803 in hotel rooms at night trying to dry it off. 2) It slightly, almost imperceptibly larger. 3) New mesh dividers in the front pockets for pens, memo pad, small stuff. 4) New zipper pocket inside front flap. 5) Extra flat pocket between main compartment and front pockets. Great for holding a Kaidan QTVR head! - --Jim - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve LeHuray" <icommag@toad.net> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Monday, September 11, 2000 4:44 AM Subject: Re: [Leica] Wich Bag for a Leica M?? > > Lucien wrote: > > > >> IMO the answer is the Domke F803 in black, navy or sand: > >> <http://www.saundersphoto.com/html/body_f803.htm> > >> + the 2-Compartment Insert > >> <http://www.saundersphoto.com/html/body_create.htm> > > > > Grégoire, > > > > Sorry it's: the F-803 together with optional '3-Compartment > > Insert' in place of the 1-Compartment Mini Insert included > > with F-803 Camera Satchel. > > <http://www.saundersphoto.com/html/body_create.htm> > > > > Lucien > > > > I like the F803 with the Mini insert supplied with the bag, that way I have > two M's with lens & hoods mounted on either side of the insert and two > lenses stacked in the insert.
