Three items (A - shade; B - 85/2 Nikkor LTM; C - 46mm filters).

A. Leitz 12504 Lens Shade
- ----------------------------------
Vented black enamel shade for Summicron or Summilux 35:
minimal paint wear, almost unnoticeable depression on bottom edge (you really have to look), unscrews to take Series VII filters. An ultraclean user. (OEM shade for Summilux and Summicron 3rd gen, but works well with any 35/2 Summicrons). Check Erwin's site.

$45 ppd in U.S. or Canada
$48 ppd Europe/Japan via airmail

B. [Nikon] Nippon Kogaku P.C. Nikkor 8.5cm f/2 (i.e. 85mm f/2) in LTM
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the lens (or one of the two lenses) that made Nikon. Five elements in four groups (Hence, P(enta) C(oated)). A copy of the Zeiss Sonnar 8.5 f/2, this lens (like the original) performs well wide-open and spectacularly at f/2.8-5.6. Twelve aperture blades. Perfect Bokeh.

Heavy chrome on brass barrel, click stops f/2-f/32 (with an additional unmarked stop corresponding to f/45 - like you'd ever need it). In all, a luxuriously-constructed lens, even by Voigtlander (old company) standards. More compact than the Jupiter 85/2, and better performance.

Glass is perfect e/f one tiny pinpoint on from element (and checked with a bright light from every angle). Barrel shows reasonable use in the form of bright marks (it doesn't look like any penetrate the chrome) and from a foot away looks great. Picture on request.

Includes (a) generic front and rear caps; (b) your choice 48mm skylight or k2; (c) 48-49mm step-up ring; (d) appropriate Nippon Kogaku leather lens case.

All in all, a lovely lens, but since I have the 105/2.5 Nikkor and the 90/2.8 Hexanon (both Sonnar variants), it is now "extra." But if you have an M2 or M3 (or even something newer), this is a compact, well-made, nice lens that matches the era of your camera, balances well with an M or LTM body, is much cheaper than any used Summicron, and is competitive with any 85 or 90 of the 1950s or 60s (and probably today, too). I use this with a Canon 7 - and it's a great setup for everyday shooting.

$335 postpaid in U.S. and Canada.
$350 postpaid to Europe or Japan via insured Express Mail.

C. 46mm filters
- ---------------------
(these fit 28/2 Summicron; 28/2.8 Elmarit and Hexanon; 90/2.8 Elmarit and Hexanon; Contax G2; and Hexar AF; as well as Hi-Matic E and F; Konica C35, Rollei XF-35, etc).

46mm Hoya HMC Orange G (5x) - for sky/clouds
46mm Vivitar X0 yellow-green - for portraits

(I just upgraded to B+W, and of course after spending all that money, see no performance difference!)

$6.50 ppd each; 11.50 ppd both anywhere in the world.
