I found this photo quite interesting enough to suggest you comment on it. It seems to me that it comes through with an uncommon freshness and exemplifies the notion of "street photography" percolating to the world of advertising / marketing youth oriented products. The image composition is very dynamic but quite different from what I would have chosen to emphasize as perspective. Would this correspond to the Leica R 16mm in terms of angle of view and slight fish eye effect ??? I hope I'm not foiling anyone's nerves by attaching (This is a second try: the email with attachment was held-over it seems) what seems to be of lower grade than Leica originated pictures. My own shot of this would have been more "slick" pour could possibly loose the particular take this other photographer had on the situation. Seems to me the LEICA R-19mm would have much less barrelling effect -- what do you think ? What film would yoou have preferred. K64 would be too lush to convey the "electric energy" of the young sportsmen. Ektachrome E-200 ? Kodachrome PKL 200 ? Or Fuji NHG 800 II and a motordrive ? I'm annoyed at the washed out highlights and what appears to be a high level of camera shake ??? Could it come from cheapo minilab processing of C41 pop film? Do you see that too ? Or am I imagining things ? Thank you for your consideration, Andre Jean Quintal
