I have a Rapidgrip, and I find it very useful for everything but the 15
Heliar. I like the feel of the RapidGrip better than the feel of the Leica
grip. With the Leica grip you can mount the camera on a tripod. The
RapidGrip doesn't have a threaded hole on the bottom. No big deal since I
rarely use my M on a tripod, and when I do I just remove the RapidGrip. One
thing I really like about the RapidGrip is that you can store a spare
battery in the handle. That's come in very handy. You can also store a
softie release on the RapidGrip, if you don't want it on your camera. I
usually do that when my camera is in a bag.

Are these handgrips useful? They werent around last time I owned an M, so
with my new one I'm trying to decide whether to get one. I donšt remember
the M being especially difficult to hold.
