I have no problems using the 50mm on the 0.58, and the 35mm is far better on it. I also have the 24mm lens, and in a pinch you can use it on the 0.58 without the external finder, particularly as you do not wear glasses. At the end of the day I think you will be best served by going to London or wherever the nearest decent Leica dealer is and seeing for yourself.
